PSRA Update Re Covid - 19
In order to respond to the latest advice from the HSE and in line with Government policy, I wish to inform you that the offices of the PSRA will close to the public on 25th of March 2020. The PSRA does however remain open for business as staff will continue to work remotely and are committed to providing a high level service to all.
As the public office has closed, the phone lines are also closed. Any queries or requests for call back, with your contact details, should be submitted to email@example.com and we will endeavour to respond in a timely manner. Post will also continue to be accepted during this period but processes have been put in place to allow for the receipt of complaints and compensation fund claims electronically. Click Here to view.
Licence Renewal Applications
The Authority is actively exploring options around licence renewals to support the property services sector. These may require legislative changes and the Authority is engaging with the Department of Justice and Equality in this regard.
At present the Authority advise all Licensees to continue to submit their licence renewal in the normal manner. Once the application has been submitted to the Authority, the licensee can continue to trade.
We are aware that many Licensed businesses are experiencing difficulties in getting Accountant’s Reports completed as a direct result of COVID-19. In such instances, Licensees should upload a document stating ‘Accountant’s Report to Follow’ where requested to upload this report as part of their application. The Authority will work with the business to complete the renewal process once the application is submitted.
It is important however that Licensees submit their licence renewal.
